My husband and I have cruised many times before, just never with 2,500 people who are as enthusiastic about rap and hip-hop music as we are (if not much more so). We’d even been on the Carnival Victory ship before, with its campy Vegas-style decor and fun amenities including a waterslide, casino, sports bar and themed restaurants. But to hear artists like 2 Chainz, Da Baby, City Girls, and of course Cardi B, coming through the speakers at every turn—that was very new. A couple years ago, DJ Khaled hosted his own at-sea music festival. Days of Summer will take place again this year, and he'll be bringing along Cardi B and Post Malone for the ride. Full details have yet to be revealed, but Khaled is expected to play a number of DJ sets during the event, which will embark from Miami to the Bahamas on June 28, before returning on July 1.

For the 2022 holiday weekend July 1 – 4, DJ Khaled’s cruise will commence from Miami to the Norwegian Sky out of and into the Bahamas’ Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay. Unfortunately for the party waves, the COVID-19 pandemic prevented last year and this one from experiencing a sophomore season. DJ Khaled just blessed fans with his new album, God Did, which proved to be worth the hype. The Miami DJ brought along a bunch of his high-profile friends, from Jay-Z and Kanye West to newer faces like Nardo Wick. The powerhouse of collaborators on the project also includes Lil Baby and Future, who appear numerous times on the tracklist.

The last festival at-sea happened three years ago aboard Carnival’s Victory ship, and included musical acts Post Malone, Cardi B, DaBaby, City Girls, Dej Loaf, and many more. From the looks of it, this year Hip-hop lovers can look forward to enjoying entertainment all night as they sail the Caribbean. I’m one of the performers in his circle, I’m just an entertainer like he is. I met Jeezy and Fat Joe on the Days of Summer cruise in the beginning of July, but that’s also a DJ Khaled thing. That’s his team who puts together the Days of the Summer cruise. They rocked the crowd, everybody was happy to see them.
